Culinary Argan Oil is a delicious golden, nutty oil made from toasted Argan nut kernels. Used for eating and for its health benefits.

Culinary Argan Oil is produced in a small region on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The oil is made from argan kernels that are hand-extracted from the hard shells of the argan fruit by Berber women’s cooperatives. The kernels are then lightly toasted before being cold-pressed, giving the oil its distinctive nutty flavour, rich aroma, and beautiful golden colour.

Prized for both its flavour and nutritional qualities, Culinary Argan Oil is best used as a finishing oil and to enhance the flavour of a wide variety of dishes.

It is not intended for high-temperature cooking, although it be used over gentle to moderate heat for lightly cooking ingredients.

For example, use it to make:

  • Add to sauces, tagine, curry to enrich the flavour
