Culinary Argan oil is golden brown colour and has delicious creamy nutty flavour.The Oil is used within cooking primarily for its roasted nutty flavour.It is not used in place of Olive Oil for high temperature cooking and frying but may be used for medium heat applications such as pan frying ingredients.

Argan is most commonly used in Morocco as a kind of butter. It is eaten by dipping bread into the oil and eating. This is best done using a good quality thick bread or even a french baguette style of bread.

How to use culinary Argan Oil

Argan Oil is very flexible and can be used to add flavour for sweet ad savoury dishes, salads and  sauces. It can can be drizzled over food, such as roasted pepper, before serving or stirred into soups, roasts or Tagines. Create nutty flavoured salad dressing by combining. It can also be used in preparing cakes such as Moroccan “Slilou” or Baklava type pastries.

Use on roasted goat-cheese with almonds, blend with honey to create a breakfast spread, blend with melted chocolate or cream to create unique ice cream sauces add to nutty stuffings and salsas to add a deep rich flavour.
